This past weekend my friend Courtney and her fiancee David and Tucker their big puppy were here to visit Ian, Grampa, Chewy and I. We crammed a lot into the weekend as well as receiving help moving miscellaneous stuff out of our old place -Thanks!
We ate good food - at Karma the new sushi place downtown- lots of sushi... and the old favorite Beaver Street Brewery - as well yummy on Saturday night. And Sunday we really wanted to eat at Martans but left to go check out 2 of the artist's galleries downtown and just bad timing so we headed to Cafe Express. Mmmm, the smell of the griddle when we walked in was just divine. I'm craving pancakes a day later!
Courtney went to my stained glass class with me on Sat. am, then we were off to Snowbowl, to enjoy the last day they were open. (Sunday morning was winDY! So I knew they wouldn't open Agassiz lift) Conditions weren't horrible, but by late afternoon there were little puddles that would just drag you to a stop. I had fun, dodging some serious patches of roughage and spending time with friends. I provided the link to Snowbowl so check it out.
Then we hit 2 bead stores to look for beads that are to be featured in Courtney and David's wedding August 3rd! So check back to see what transpires in wedding jewelry using mother of pearl, freshwater pearls, and swarovski crystals..
